The ๐ฃ๐๐ป๐ท๐ฎ๐ฏ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ has launched a major ๐ฅ๐. ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ผ๐ป project to expand digital surveillance across ๐ต๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐ต๐๐ถ๐น๐, with plans to install around ๐ญ๐ฌ,๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ and extend technology-based monitoring to more areas of the province. The expanded network will use advanced ๐๐-๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐๐ผ๐ผ๐น๐, including facial recognition, automatic number plate recognition, crime analytics and intelligent traffic management, to support policing and public safety. Safe City operations are already functioning across nearly ๐ฐ๐ฌ ๐ฐ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐, and the new initiative is intended to further expand Punjabโs digital policing and surveillance infrastructure.
