Pakistan generated more than 𝗥𝘀. 𝟭.𝟴𝟯 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 from 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗯𝗲𝘅 𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 between 2023 and 2025, according to figures shared by the Ministry of Climate Change in the Senate. 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 generated Rs. 760 million, 𝗚𝗶𝗹𝗴𝗶𝘁-𝗕𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 more than Rs. 620 million, 𝗞𝗵𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗵𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗸𝗵𝘄𝗮 Rs. 447.8 million and 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗵 around Rs. 3.1 million. Under the existing policy, 𝟴𝟬% 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲 is allocated to local communities and the remaining 20% goes to provincial wildlife departments.
