𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝘄𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿-𝗦𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

Pakistan and Oman are exploring a proposal to designate 𝗚𝘄𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁 and 𝗢𝗺𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁 as 𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 in an effort to strengthen maritime cooperation, trade and regional connectivity. The proposal was discussed during a meeting between 𝗚𝘄𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝗾 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗵 and Oman’s Consul General 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗺 𝗔𝗹 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗿𝗶, with the initiative aimed at developing stronger 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 while opening new investment opportunities. If implemented, the arrangement could connect 𝗖𝗣𝗘𝗖 more directly with 𝗚𝘂𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀, improve cargo movement, reduce transit times and support wider regional trade through enhanced maritime connectivity.
